At  AILA'S  Catering  we  are  always  looking  for  the  best  new  thing  to  hit  the wedding  scene! Attending  Wedding  Shows  across  the  Nation  and   staying  in touch  with  bridal  consultants  from  L.A.  to  New York and Chicago to San Antonio Texas,  we  are  constantly  finding  out  the  greatest  trends  and  wanting  to  share  our  new  treasures  with our  brides!  

Local Seasonal Sourcing

By buying local, caterers are getting food that is more fresh and tailored to the more common wants of Brides. Local products are almost always better in flavor, affordability, and overall better suited for the guests. Brides in Maine are serving lobster while Brides in Oklahoma serve Filet. Yum! By Frequenting Farmer's Markets around Tulsa and working side by side with Brides to get a true feel of their tastes and vision, we believe we can create a truly memorable menu for you and your guests!

Signature Drinks

Rather than the usual beer and wine offerings, Modern Brides are choosing a specialized drink station. Whether it be a champagne station with infused syrups such as lavender or vanilla bean, or a Scotch station to pay homage to the groom's favorite spirit, Brides and Grooms are showing off their personality as a couple through their choice of libations!

Dessert Bars

We love this trend. It isn't all about the wedding cake now, but about the miniature favorites of bride and groom alike. Though there is still a smaller cake for cutting, more and more brides are leaning towards bite sized themed desserts to give their guests more variety.

Plated Service

 All around the nation, Brides are opting for more elegant glam! A move toward plated meals and gold rimmed china has started. Chandeliers, garlands of peonies, and elegant details are on the rise.

Action Stations

Who doesn't like playing with their food? Really? Well maybe not making a mess, but having an interactive food station is something that your guests will love and create memories. The days of Chocolate Fountains are gone, and they have made the way for Crepe Stations, Ice Cream Sundae Bars, and "DIY" Coffee Bars. We have had a lot of fun this past year trying out a few of these ideas and are ready to roll them out in full force!

Late Night Snacks

For those who like to party into the night, a new trend is just up your ally! Brides are considering their guest's needs after the sugar rush as settled down and offering late night snacks either as a small buffet or as passed hor d'oeuvres. From Salty Baked Pretzles with Cheese dip, to Cheddar popcorn and Jalepeno bites. These are a fun way to keep your guests satisfied all night and keep the party going 'til the Grand Exit!
